Smyr New Athos Cave, and the Institute of Ecology of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia invite you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "The New Athos Cave and the Challenges of Karst Study in Abkhazia." The conference, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the tourism activities of the G.Sh. Smyr New Athos Cave and the 80th anniversary of the birth of Givi Shalvovich Smyr, will take place on December 8-9, 2025, in Sukhum, Republic of Abkhazia.

The Russian Science Foundation, together with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), is launching a competition for fundamental and exploratory research projects by international research teams.

A roundtable discussion titled "Abandoned Fishing Gear - Pollution of Water Bodies: Problems and Practical Successes, Legal Aspects" will be held on October 22.

October 6 marked the start of the new season of the popular science competition "Science. Territory of Heroes" for schoolchildren and students aged 10 to 25. The competition is supported by Russian National Projects and is part of the "Science of Winning" initiative of the Decade of Science and Technology.
