The IEE RAS Technology Transfer Center was established in 2023 as a structural unit of the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Legal basis: the federal project «Development of Large-Scale Scientific and Scientific-Technological Projects in Priority Research Areas» under the national project «Science and Universities» (2021).
Mission of the IEE RAS Technology Transfer Center
Creating conditions for:
- the transfer of innovative developments and results of intellectual activity (RIA) within the Russian Federation and friendly countries,
- coordinating the Institute's scientific and technological interaction with enterprises of the real economy sector and leading research centers of the Russian Federation,
- ensuring interaction with federal and regional authorities of the Russian Federation,
- promoting the country's technological and environmental sovereignty, innovative development, and the implementation of national projects of the Russian Federation.
Success Stories
As a pilot project, the Center has developed a second-generation model for retrospective-predictive assessment of environmental quality based on a limited set of biodiversity status indicators.
Result: agreements have been concluded with subsidiaries of EVRAZ and the Novolipetsk Steel plant (NLMK Group) for biodiversity monitoring in the vicinity of five mining and metallurgical enterprises.
