The laboratory staff specialize in ecotoxicometry, reproductive toxicology and molecular toxicology. Special attention is given to improving the methodological basis for identifying environmentally distressed zones in residential areas near solid production and consumption waste landfills and thermal waste-disposal facilities — potential sources of emissions/discharges of super-ecotoxicants into the environment.
The laboratory's organizational structure allows it to carry out research jointly with the Faculty of Biology of Lomonosov Moscow State University under joint programs and a scientific cooperation agreement.
