School for young researchers: "Genetic and cellular technologies in biomedical research"

We invite you to participate in the School for young researchers on October 7-8, 2026, at the N.K. Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The School for young researchers "Genetic and cellular technologies in biomedical research" is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (in accordance with Agreement No. 075-15-2025-464 dated May 29, 2025).

The School program includes a series of master classes covering key areas of cellular and molecular biology and regenerative medicine.

Attendees will become familiar with genome editing technologies, using both eukaryotic cell line models and mammalian genome editing as an example. Particular attention will be paid to approaches to using induced pluripotent stem cells to study the early stages of mammalian embryogenesis. Participants will also be introduced to modern methods of spatial transcriptomics, from a comparison of existing technologies and a review of experimental protocols to bioinformatic data analysis.

Detailed information and registration for the master classes will be posted on the website idbras.ru.

Participants will be selected through a competitive process based on the applications submitted during registration.

There is no registration fee for the event.

Venue: Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, 26 Vavilov Street.
