October 6 marked the start of the new season of the popular science competition "Science. Territory of Heroes" for schoolchildren and students aged 10 to 25. The competition is supported by Russian National Projects and is part of the "Science of Winning" initiative of the Decade of Science and Technology.
On Thursday, October 2, at 3:00 PM, the V.N. Sukachev Laboratory of Biogeocenology and the Laboratory of Ecological and Climatic Research will hold an interlaboratory colloquium in the conference hall of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Leninsky Prospekt, 33) to discuss the pre-defense of the doctoral dissertation of Andrey Fedorovich Osipov (Institute of Biology, Komi Science Center, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences).
The V.E. Sokolov Theriological Society of the Russian Academy of Sciences will hold a conference with international participation “Mammals in a Changing World: Current Problems of Theriology” (XII Congress of the V.E. Sokolov Theriological Society of the Russian Academy of Sciences) from February 2 to 6, 2026, in Moscow, at the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IEE RAS).
Registration is open for events that will take place at the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IEE RAS) on Friday, October 10, as part of the NAUKA 0+ festival.
From August 18, 2025, the acceptance of documents from applicants to postgraduate studies will begin and last until September 5. In the second half of September, the admission of entrance exams will be organized.
