On Friday, October 23, at 12:00, an inter-laboratory colloquium will be held in the conference hall (33 Leninsky Prospekt), featuring the Laboratory of Comparative Ethology and Biocommunication, the Laboratory of Behavior and Behavioral Ecology, the Laboratory for the Study of Ecological Functions of Soils, and the Laboratory of Innovative Technologies.

Presentation of PhD theses for defense by postgraduate students from the Laboratory of Comparative Ethology and Biocommunication:

1. Dmitry Vadimovich Stepanov; thesis topic: "Changes in the microbial communities of the amphibian digestive system during metamorphosis"; field of specialization: "Zoology" (scientific supervisor: E. A. Galoyan, PhD in Biological Sciences).

2. Marina Yuryevna Smagina; thesis topic: "The influence of hypothermia on the cognitive abilities of species from the subfamily Cricetinae that employ different strategies for surviving the winter period"; field of specialization: "Zoology" (scientific supervisor: N. Yu. Feoktistova, Doctor of Biological Sciences).
