The conference is being organized by the Russian National Committee for the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development/Interdepartmental National Oceanographic Commission of the Russian Federation (INOC) in collaboration with the Institute for Integrated Studies of National Marine Policy of the Russian Technical University MIREA and the Museum-Reserve "Museum of the World Ocean," with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Ministry of Culture. The conference will be one of the official events of the UN Decade of Ocean Science and Sustainable Development.

To participate in the Conference, you must register on the above-mentioned platform, which will be available until October 7, 2026.
Participation in the conference is free; there are no fees. Abstracts from conference participants will be published in the conference proceedings. Please email abstracts and consent for publication to ocean-decade-mirea@yandex.ru.
Conference participants will have the opportunity to establish new partnerships with colleagues from the fields of culture, science, education, government agencies, and the business community in the maritime sector.
A poster session will be held as part of the conference. Posters will be on display for the entire duration of the conference – October 8-9, 2026. Poster authors will be available to speak with conference participants on October 8 from 17:00 to 19:00.
A poster contest will be held during the poster session, with the winners receiving certificates.
All poster session participants are required to register on the platform.
