From September 24-27, 2026, the Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences will host a school for young scientists, "Objects and Methods of Developmental Biology: Genomic, Molecular, and Morphogenetic Mechanisms of Development and Regeneration." The school is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the eminent embryologist D.P. Filatov (1876-1943).
The school will feature lectures and workshops by leading scientists in the field of developmental biology. Participants will be introduced to methods of experimental developmental biology, bioinformatics, and confocal microscopy. The lectures and workshops will explore the development of a wide range of organisms, from basal metazoans to vertebrates.
Application deadline: September 5, 2026.
The number of participants is 20. The selection results will be published by September 10. There is no registration fee for School participants.
