VII All-Russian Forum "Greenhouse Industry of Russia - 2026"

The 7th All-Russian Forum "Greenhouse Industry of Russia — 2026" will be held April 23–24, 2026, in Moscow. The Forum is organized by Agribusiness Magazine.

This year, special emphasis will be placed on plant protection—one of the most pressing issues for greenhouses. The keynote address will be given by Anton Aleksandrovich Goncharov, PhD in Biology, Senior Researcher at the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor at Tyumen State University, and Grant Manager of the Russian Science Foundation.

What will be the topic of discussion?

Fusarium wilt is the scourge of modern greenhouse farms. Yield losses of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, and other crops can reach 10% or more. Existing chemical and biological treatments don't always produce the desired effect, and pathogens quickly adapt.

Anton Aleksandrovich has been studying soil ecosystems for over 15 years and has developed a fundamentally different approach—an ecological method for controlling fusarium based on activating beneficial soil life (microarthropods, nematodes, earthworms). His research confirms that stimulating natural food webs in the soil can:

▫️ reduce fusarium infestation in plants by 40–46%;

▫️ reduce the content of hazardous mycotoxins in produce;

▫️ increase yields in test samples by up to 9%.

At the forum, you will learn:

✅ How a new method for combating fusarium, protected by Russian patent No. 2825998, works.

✅ How to use spectral analysis to detect infection at early stages, even before visible signs appear.

✅ Why the ecological method doesn't induce resistance in pathogens and can be combined with traditional chemical control.

✅ What results were obtained in experiments on hydroponic lettuce.

Who will find this report especially useful?

▪️ Greenhouse managers and agronomists (vegetables, herbs, flowers).

▪️ Crop protection specialists.

▪️ Substrate, fertilizer, and biopreparation manufacturers.

▪️ Anyone looking for effective solutions to reduce losses from diseases.

Why come?

Live communication with a practicing scientist will allow you not only to hear about the latest developments but also to ask questions and discuss the possibility of implementing this method on your farm. Anton Aleksandrovich is open to collaboration and is ready to share not only theory but also practical recommendations.
