NextGIS and the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences are holding the Nature reserve GIS 2026 school-seminar from May 18 to 22, 2026. The event will take place at 33 Leninsky Prospekt, Moscow.
Over the course of five days, participants will:
- master modern methods of collecting and processing field data
- work with satellite remote sensing data
- develop and publish web maps
- analyze real-world cases of GIS application in specially protected natural areas
Participation requires basic GIS skills. To apply, please complete the application form.
There is no registration fee, but participants are responsible for their own accommodations in Moscow and logistics.
