The Russian Science Foundation, together with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), is launching a competition for fundamental and exploratory research projects by international research teams.
Grants are available for research in 2027–2029 in the following fields:
- Mathematics, computer science, and systems sciences;
- Physics and space sciences;
- Chemistry and materials sciences;
- Biology and life sciences;
- Fundamental research for medicine;
- Agricultural sciences;
- Geosciences;
- Engineering sciences.
The Foundation's grants will range from 4 to 7 million rubles annually. Funding will be awarded to projects that receive positive evaluations from independent experts in both countries.
Applications for the competition must be submitted by 5:00 PM (Moscow time) on December 22, 2025. The competition results will be announced on June 30, 2026.
