Registration for applications for the Moscow Government Prize for Young Scientists 2025 Competition is open from April 12 to July 18, 2025. The winners will be awarded prizes of 4 million rubles each, as well as laureate diplomas.
To participate in the Competition, you must register on the official website https://nauka.mos.ru/control/registration, fill in the required data in your personal account, and upload the required files (see the "Documents" section).
Original documents on paper must be submitted in 1 copy no later than July 31, 2025 to the State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education Moscow State Pedagogical Univ. at the following address: Moscow, 2-y Selskokhozyaistvenny proezd, 4, bldg. 1.
The term "young scientist" means individuals under the age of 36, from among scientific, engineering and technical, scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students, doctoral students conducting scientific and scientific and technical activities in scientific organizations and educational organizations of higher education, specialists carrying out experimental developments in other organizations, and individuals up to and including 40 years of age from among doctors of science.
The age of the Competition participants is determined as of December 31, 2025.
Young scientists who are citizens of the Russian Federation and carry out their activities in organizations located in the city of Moscow may participate in the Competition.
An application can be submitted individually or as part of a group of up to 3 people. If a prize is awarded to a research team, the prize is divided equally among the members of that team.
Prizes are awarded:
– for achieving outstanding results in fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of natural, technical and humanitarian sciences;
– for the development and implementation of new technologies, equipment, materials and substances that contribute to improving the efficiency of activities in the real sector of the economy and the social sphere of the city of Moscow.
Prizes are awarded in 22 nominations.
