The Atlas of areas is created and faunal lists of rodents and pikas by the Mongolian administrative districts are made up on the basis of results of the work carried out by the Joint Russian-Mongolian complex biological expedition of the Russian and Mongolian Academies of Sciences.

Based on the results of the theriological survey team of the Joint Russian-Mongolian Complex Biological Expedition of RAS and MAS, an atlas of species ranges was created and faunal lists of rodents and pikas were compiled by the administrative districts (somons) of Mongolia.
