Leading somnologists discussed the process of a night’s sleep, the formation of dreams, the way the structure of sleep changes with age, how sleep is organized in different animals, how the brain mechanisms of wakefulness and sleep are arranged, as well as discuss the biological clock of the body.

The International Society of Biometeorology will hold its 1st virtual and 22nd International Congress of Biometeorology, Connecting Our World: Biometeorology 2021, from 20-22 September 2021. The Russian-Turkmen web conference "Ecosystem of the Caspian Sea: Situation, Preservation and Prospects for Cooperation" will be held on May 12, 2021.
Co-organizers of the web conference from the Russian side: the Council for Science and Innovation of the Caspian Sea and the Russian Committee for the UNESCO Program “Man and the Biosphere”.
The web conference is planned with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Nature and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The purpose of the Conference is to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the scientific, technical and innovation spheres of Russia and Turkmenistan and to develop the negotiations held within the framework of the First Caspian Economic Forum.
During the Conference, it is planned to discuss the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of ensuring the environmental safety of the Caspian Sea, taking into account climatic, anthropogenic and geological risks, as well as current proposals for cooperation in the field of geology and personnel training.
