The guidelines "Diagnostics and prevention of helminthiasis in reindeer in zoos" are addressed primarily to veterinarians, livestock specialists and keepers of those zoos whose collections include reindeer. In addition, these guidelines may be useful to veterinarians and biologists, students and postgraduates of biological, veterinary and agricultural universities, as well as to all those who are not indifferent to the problems of helminthology of ruminants.
These guidelines were developed based on the results of a study of reindeer helminths in fifty zoos and menageries in the Russian Federation, conducted in 2024 under the auspices of the Union of Zoos and Aquariums of Russia. You can download the monograph at the link.
