Evgeniy Burgov, an employee of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences, took part in the RIA Novosti podcast and spoke about the fact that today there are more than 10,000 species of ants and only one species of human living on Earth. Despite this difference in diversity, we have a lot in common: we live in families and build houses, take care of our offspring and share labor, study and fight. How can animals with a very distant common ancestor be so similar?
