ABOUT THE COUNCIL OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS OF IPEE RAS
The Council of Young Scientists of A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Council of Young Scientists of IPEE RAS) is a public collegial advisory body to the Academic Council, representing the interests of young scientists of IEE RAS in the professional field.
The subject matter of the Council of Young Scientists of IPEE RAS is to promote the development of creative scientific activity of young scientists, as well as representing interests of young scientists in improving the quality of work and life.
MAIN DIRECTIONS OF ACTIVITY OF the Council of Young Scientists of IPEE RAS
1. Search and distribution of information about local and foreign conferences, symposia, workshops and other scientific events for young scientists;
2. Search and distribution of information on grant competitions provided by the RAS, RFBR, RSF and other funds in which young scientists can participate;
3. Promoting the organization and holding of scientific congresses, conferences, symposia, seminars, round tables, exhibitions and other events in which young scientists could take part, attracting young scientists to participate in scientific events held both by the RAS and directly IPEE RAS with the possible subsequent publication of collections of articles and other materials;
4. Organization of effective promotion of scientific knowledge and the latest achievements of academic science;
5. Expressing opinions and representing the interests of young scientists of the IPEE RAS and providing feedback to the management of the IPEE RAS;
6. Identification of the most urgent social problems of young scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences and assistance in their resolution, including the search for forms of solving the housing problem of young specialists, improving the effectiveness of scientific guidance, improving working conditions, inclusion of academic science in the organization process, increasing the activity of young scientists in IPEE RAS; 7. Ensuring the availability of information on the activities of the Council, creating and maintaining the “Council of Young Scientists” page within the framework of the official website of the IPEE RAS on the Internet
